What is velovie all about?
Velovie is an international cycling club with members across over 25 countries, and a Whatsapp Community that keeps us all in touch. We also have regional Ambassadors who lead rides & support the local members... Along with an online library designed to inspire, support and encourage people to explore some of the best cycling destination in the world. We believe that's noble adventure, and we want to bring you all along for the ride!
We started in London and are currently developing the Clubhouse in Mallorca. But we are getting good at multi-tasking and are about to launch a range of cycling clothing, podcast and Escapes... So there is a lot going on! This is all going to help us build real value for our members, but the biggest & most important job is ofcourse growing the community. That's where we need your help.
What's happening today?
A new model for Cycling Clubs
We need Ambassadors, Athletes and Partners across the world to help us bring people together in our special Velovie way. The Club is fun, friendly and for everybody - nervous first timers right up to seasoned crit racers, and even the odd professional.
For Ambassadors who come along for the ride (literally and figuratively) we share the love with free kit, local promotions and support if you want to grow your own business. We'll also get you involved with regional Escapes, events, races and content depending on your appetite.
We started Velovie because we love cycling, the community and it's ability to help us explore some of the most epic destinations in the world. We are evolving fast, but our aim is the same - to help people get out on the bike, make friends, and explore more. In 2024 we will have the guides and community up & running for Surrey Hills (UK), Mallorca, Girona & Slovenia.
In 2025 we will deliver our first Escapes, the 2nd range of cycling apparel & the self service 'Ultimate Guides' for the Dolomites (Italy), Yorkshire (UK), Morzine & Nice (France). With the wind beneath our sails we'll also have found some great Ambassadors for these regions, and have the local communities up and running.
Looking to the future
How does it work?
The key thing is that we're not looking for followers, and it isn't about money. It's about finding like minded people who want to be part of a global cycling community. If that's you and you are able to help us with some content/leading local rides, we can bring a raft of partners, discounts and events to the table that will really pull everything together.

Curating routes, collaborating on blog posts.

#2 Local Guide
Become a local ride leader, collaborating on Escape design, and an Expert for your area in the Members Whatsapp Community.
(Benefits include FREE Velovie Cycling Kit, Whatsapp Group for Ambassadors & 1:1 support from HQ. We'll also bring you to help with other Escapes as we progress, so opportunities to travel!)
#3 Escape Leader
Co-ordinator and ride leader for Escape x2 a year. Opportunities to join other projects including podcasts, reviews, events & product design.

(If you've thought about doing your own thing in sport, then we're also here to help. Maybe you want to be a coach, a guide, a professional racer or a YouTuber. The Velovie Team, Partners & Community will be at your disposal to help you succeed.)

Regional expert, Manager & Co-Ordinator.

Become our Champion and boots-on-the-ground for the region. Organising and delivering escapes, managing online sales, community, rides, and selecting new ambassadors to join your team. Owning local partner relationships and supporting the growth of the brand.

My friends call me Hobbit, and I am obsessed with bikes... Which is why we created Velovie. I'm all about the coffee stops, riding in mountains, Zwift racing & building bikes. But don't be surprised to see me running a UTMB too.

I am reasonably new to cycling, but quickly knew it was something that made me tick. I love the community, the racing and the adventures! So when we began to build Velovie it was always going to be something special. Now I can't wait to bring people along for the ride.
